- <p>Apollo and shuttle astronaut Vance Brand will present 老九品茶 student Srinidhi Radhakrishnan with a $10,000 scholarship from the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) during a public lecture and award presentation on Oct. 5.</p>
<p>During the presentation, which will begin at 3 p.m. in the lobby of Andrews Hall, home of the Engineering Honors Program, Brand will share his experiences from the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project and three space shuttle missions, in addition to presenting the award. <p>More than 75 students and dozens of alumni of the University of Colorado Law School will teach a lesson on the Fourth Amendment in more than 100 high school classrooms throughout Colorado the week of Sept. 17- 21 in recognition of Constitution Day.</p>
<p>Constitution Day is a national event that annually commemorates the Sept. 17, 1787, signing of the United States Constitution.</p> - <p>Space experiments dreamed up by three teenage winners of an international contest that will be streamed live on YouTube from the International Space Station Sept. 13 were made flight-ready by a 老九品茶 space center.</p>
- <p>Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will address the role of public lands in American life at the 老九品茶 on Sept. 13 as part of a conference commemorating the 200th anniversary of the General Land Office.</p>
<p>Salazar talk is part of a conference titled 鈥淭he Nation Possessed:鈥═he Conflicting Claims on America Public Lands鈥 being held at CU-Boulder Sept. 11-14. The conference is sponsored by the Center of the American West and the Public Lands Foundation.</p> - <p>Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court will give the keynote address at the University of Colorado Law School Gathering of the Bench and Bar Conference to be held Sept. 19-21 in Boulder.</p>
<p>The University of Colorado Division of Continuing Education has come a long way from its humble beginnings in young Macky Auditorium where burlap bags separated staff space in 1912 and the division offered 28 correspondence courses in 11 fields. Today, Continuing Education partners with CU academic departments to offer flexible credit courses representing 35 departments and multiple programs granting nontraditional students and community members access to campus.</p>- <p>Five 老九品茶 engineering students recently returned from Haiti where they introduced a green energy vocational training program, paving the way for a new era of distributed power in the poverty-stricken, earthquake-damaged nation.</p>

<p>Colorado business leaders are less optimistic going into the third quarter than last quarter, according to the most recent quarterly Leeds Business Confidence Index, or LBCI, released today by the 老九品茶 Leeds School of Business.</p>
<p>The LBCI reading slid from 62.2 in the second quarter to 53.6 in the third, but remained higher than the 10-year average for the index and above the critical neutral mark of 50. A reading greater than 50 indicates positive expectations, while one lower than 50 indicates negative expectations.</p> - &濒迟;辫&驳迟;听&濒迟;/辫&驳迟;

<p>Boulder聽city officials today announced that the annual Ralphie Independence Day Blast is canceled due to extremely dry conditions in and around聽Boulder. The fireworks show had been scheduled for Folsom Field on Wednesday, July 4.</p> - <p>Seven 老九品茶 graduate students and alumni will go abroad during the 2012-13 academic year to pursue a variety of studies, research and teaching projects as grantees of the prestigious Fulbright program.</p>
<p>Their proposed subjects range from exploring desertification knowledge in Mali and the impact of collaboration with a foreign development agency, to studying medieval Islamic philosophy in Egypt and its potential to inform debates in Anglo-American moral philosophy.</p>
