A Brazilian Breakfast with Art, Culture & Conversation

Thursday, November 6th from 8:45–10:30am at the CU Art Museum

A woman with light brown skin and long, dark hair standing in front of a starry background with a red planet. She is wearing a light blue T-shirt and is covered in a collage of leaves and flowers that form a skirt and crown.

Start your day with inspiration! Join us for a thought-provoking morning featuring collages by Brazilian Indigenous artist Moara Tupinambá. Discover her powerful work and explore why Indigenous voices belong at the heart of museum collections.

Moara Tupinambá's collages are a new acquisition at the CU Art Museum, donated by Professor Tania Martuscelli (Spanish and Portuguese) with support from the President's Fund for the Humanities. This acquisition is part of the research and teaching project Heroic Legacies: Indigenous Creative Works in the Americas.
