- <p>The ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è will host the 2011 Linguistics Institute from July 7 to Aug. 2, a prestigious gathering of faculty and students from around the world that also will feature free films, workshops and lectures open to the public.</p>
- <p>ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è environmental design students are kicking off a community discussion on the future of University Hill public space through a series of installations being placed throughout the neighborhood this week.</p>

- <p>Shane Baldauf, a sophomore in architecture and planning at the ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è who is dedicated to ‘green' and affordable housing, has been awarded a prestigious Udall Scholarship.</p>
- <p>With commencement quickly approaching and spring temperatures warming, ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è senior Bryant Mason is working hard to prepare vegetable gardens and get crops in the ground before he graduates.</p>
- <p>The ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è's "Food and Environmental Justice Week" will be held on campus April 11-17.</p>
- <p>The ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è's 63rd annual Conference on World Affairs returns to campus April 4-8 with over 200 events including talks, panel discussions and a plenary address by Graham Nash and David Crosby, all of which are free and open to the public.</p>
- <p>Vicente Fox, former president of Mexico, will speak at the ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è's Macky Auditorium on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. He is coming to campus at the invitation of the Distinguished Speakers Board, a student organization at CU-Boulder.</p>
- <p>The ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è's Center of the American West will host "Words to Stir the Soul and Reckon with Reality: The Six-Month Anniversary of the Fourmile Canyon Fire" on March 14.</p>
- <p>Following a more than three-month delay due to technical problems, NASA's space shuttle Discovery will make its final flight Feb. 24 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida carrying two ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è-built biomedical payload devices.</p>
