Buff pride filled the air at the 94th Alumni Awards event, the official kick off of Homecoming festivities and one of the university's longest standing traditions. A variety of awards honor some of �Ͼ�Ʒ�� best and brightest alumni, faculty, student and staff members. 

The Research & Innovation Seed Grant program—designed to stimulate new areas of research, scholarship and creativity on the �Ͼ�Ʒ�� campus—is accepting proposals through Jan. 22.

�Ͼ�Ʒ�� chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society participated in the 2023 First Nations Launch as the “CU Trailblazers,” sweeping first place in all their categories and a grand prize trip to the Kennedy Space Center.

Held at the Center for British and Irish Studies, the Fall Convocation and Awards Ceremony on Oct. 13 celebrated the remarkable achievements of 122 faculty members at �Ͼ�Ʒ��.

Each year, the Best Should Teach Awards honor �Ͼ�Ʒ�� faculty, graduate instructors and local K-12 teachers at an annual ceremony. Student nominations of professors are due by Nov. 1.

On Friday, Oct. 13, in commemoration of LASP 75th anniversary, the lab was honored during the space-themed football game that included a number of special announcements and activities that took place throughout the game first half.

�Ͼ�Ʒ�� professors Noah Finkelstein of physics and Valerie Otero of education have won the 2023 Svend Pedersen Award and Lecture from Stockholm University.
