  • <p>The CU-Boulder is ranked No. 5 in the nation – up one spot from last year – for graduates serving as Peace Corps volunteers with 53 alumni currently serving around the world, the Peace Corps announced Feb. 18.</p>
  • <p>Francis Beckwith will serve as the Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy for the 2016-17 academic year. He is the fourth person to hold the position.</p>
    <p>Beckwith earned a PhD in philosophy from Fordham University and a master of juridical studies from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Beckwith, professor of philosophy and church-state studies at Baylor University in Texas, will succeed Brian Domitrovic, whose appointment ends this academic year.</p>
  • Mark Meaney
    <p>Mark Meaney has been elected chair of the new North America chapter of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education intiative. The organization works to inspire and champion responsible business management education, research and leadership globally.</p>

He along with Hector Rodriguez and Julien Denaes are the first cohort of entreprenurial experts in CU-Boulder's Global Entrepreneurs in Residence program. </span></p>

    <p>Looking for leadership skills? Apply for <a href="http://www.colorado.edu/involvement/training/clp">CU GOLD Core Leadership Program</a> (CLP). CU GOLD is a student-led group on campus that provides an opportunity for CU-Boulder students to foster personal development in leadership skills. CLP consists of a leadership retreat Feb. 6-7, weekly seminars devoted to various leadership topics, and a community service project. </p>
