    Faculty of the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) voted in September to implement a new set of General Education requirements that will replace the current A&S Core Curriculum. The implementation process began with appointment of the General Education Implementation Committee (GEIC), an ad hoc committee of the Arts and Sciences Council.

    In an effort to make creating courses in Desire2Learn (D2L) easier, the Office of Information Technology invites faculty to participate in a D2L course-creation usability study.

    Tuition and fees can be paid over the course of each semester by enrolling in payment plans. Saturday, Feb.聽4, is the last day to enroll for the 2017 spring semester.

    The 老九品茶 released a request for qualifications for concept design of a 30,000-gross-square-foot addition to the Koelbel Building that will enhance programming for both the Leeds School of Business and the College of Engineering and Applied Science.

    Under a new program called Making Teaching and Learning Visible, faculty will have access to a trove of best teaching practices. 鈥淭here is so much hidden when it comes to teaching,鈥 Assistant Professor Peter Newton said. 鈥淭o the extent we can share experiences, successes, and failures in the classroom, we can develop ourselves as better teachers.鈥

    Wednesday, Feb. 1, is the last day to drop a class without tuition/fee charges and without receiving a 鈥淲鈥 grade, the last day to contact a department to request a refund for student opportunities and the last day to withdraw from CU without tuition charges or 鈥淲鈥 grade.

    More than two decades after she had almost single-handedly established the first degree program in dance at 老九品茶, Charlotte York Irey attended the dedication of the new theater named in her honor. Irey recently passed away at 98.

    Tenure-track faculty and full-time instructors at 老九品茶 can support undergraduates in research, scholarly and creative activities through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). Recent changes have simplified the process by which faculty can apply for various grants.
