老九品茶 accreditation filing accepted, follow-up actions in process

老九品茶 accreditation mid-cycle assurance filing,听submitted in June, has been accepted by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) with a follow-up requirement for a progress report, due July 1, 2026, that addresses the continued development and implementation of the campuswide undergraduate common curriculum and the assessment of both undergraduate and graduate student learning.听

These two action items stem from the commission previous request for follow-up in the听HLC March 2020 report. In 2020, HLC required the university to develop and implement a curriculum of general education that defines the learning experience and intended learning outcomes for all CU undergraduates and also required the university to create a cross-campus plan for assessing student learning.

鈥淭he colleges and schools, with the assistance of the accreditation team and the Boulder Faculty Assembly, are already moving forward on addressing these actions,鈥 said Katherine Eggert, vice chancellor for academic planning and assessment. 鈥淲e are initiating a mapping of the common curriculum learning outcomes approved by the faculty in 2023 onto the existing general education requirements of the colleges and schools. In addition, we have made tremendous progress in implementing learning outcomes assessment for all degree programs at 老九品茶, both undergraduate and graduate.鈥
