Celebrate International Education Week Nov. 18–22

The university community is invited to joinÌýÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýInternational Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in celebration ofÌý±õ²Ô³Ù±ð°ù²Ô²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²¹±ôÌý·¡»å³Ü³¦²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²ÔÌý°Â±ð±ð°ìÌýNov. 18–22.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of International Education Week (IEW), a joint initiative organized by the U.S. Departments of State and U.S. Department of Education, ±õ²Ô³Ù±ð°ù²Ô²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô²¹±ôÌý·¡»å³Ü³¦²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²ÔÌý°Â±ð±ð°ì serves as “an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide and promotesÌýprograms that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learnÌýand exchange experiences.â€Ìý

To celebrate IEW, ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è organizes programming to showcase and celebrate the extensive international connections here on campus, spearheaded by the offices of Education Abroad and International Student andÌýScholar Services.

The headlineÌýevent is a special IEW edition of International Coffee Hour on Nov.Ìý15—held the Friday before IEW to bring attention to the upcoming week. The event will feature a display of the 2019 photo contest submissions, recognize ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è Global Citizen awardees and 2019 photo contest winners.
