On behalf of the faculty and staff in the University Libraries, I wish to reaffirm our commitment to fostering mutual respect, inclusionÌýand intellectual freedom. These are cornerstones in the great tradition of American libraries, principles our profession has codified in our Ìýand integral to the we embrace as an organization.Ìý

In the libraries you are invited to seek knowledge openly and engage in respectful conversation and exchange of ideas.
