LA Program Special Projects Student AssistantÌý

Job Description

The LA Program seeks an undergraduate student to work on special projects and initiatives that serve the overall mission of the Program. This student will have experience as an LA Mentor, with broad understanding of the LA Program and unique ideas for projects that contribute to the overall mission of the program. This position is for the academic year.Ìý

Ìý

Job Responsibilities
  • Content creation and revision: Create and revise materials for use in the LA Program, according to project needs and specifications

  • Content review: Provide feedback on and revise existing materials for use in the LA Program.

  • Data analysis: Clean, organize, analyze, and represent data as needed for special projects. May be a combination of qualitative and quantitative data

  • Weekly check-ins with LA Program directors

  • Asynchronous work on projects for no more than 5-10 hours per week

  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsÌý

  • Strong organizational skillsÌý

  • Ability to work independentlyÌý

  • Previous experience as an LA MentorÌý

Compensation

Compensation is $19.82/hour.Ìý

Benefits

As a student hourly employee, you are eligible for FAMLI, jury duty pay, sick leave and maybe subject to enrollment in the Student Employment Retirement Plan (SERP); Optional Savings Plans 403B, 457, 401k. Sick leave accrues at a rate of 0.034 hours per every 1 hour worked. You are not eligible for fringe benefits such as vacation, unemployment, paid holiday leave and/or tuition remission.
