You can now apply for the Tuition Assistance Benefit (TAB) for Spring 2026. This benefit helps you and your eligible family members pay for tuition at any University of Colorado campus. It makes it easier to continue your education.��Learn more about the tuition benefit program.��

The Basic Needs Center mobile food pantries are free and open to �Ͼ�Ʒ�� students, faculty and staff, as well as community members of Boulder and Broomfield counties. Attendees may receive up to 30 pounds of food in multiple boxes. On Thursday, Dec. 11, the pantry will be located at Kittredge Central from 2pm - 4pm.��Get more information.

Emergencies can happen anytime, and knowing how to respond is essential for everyone on campus. To help keep our community safe and informed, �Ͼ�Ʒ�� has launched a new animated video series, “More clear. Less fear.” Alerts are shared on the university brand new �Ͼ�Ʒ�� Safe app, which is available for download now in the�� and stores. You can watch the full “More clear. Less fear.” video series anytime on the app under the “Safety Toolbox” section, or on the��Division of Public Safety resources webpage.��

Finding your way on campus should be easy. Old signs have made it hard for visitors and even long-time staff. That changing.

• Phase 1 is done: new light pole banners are up on Main Campus and will soon be at Williams Village and East Campus. These are the first step toward better campus navigation.
• Phase 2 will redesign building signs, maps, and wayfinding. The project team is working with AW-ARCH, an architecture firm, and �Ͼ�Ʒ�� staff.

How long have you been working at CU?��

I've worked for CU since 2008 as a student, full-time since 2013, so it'll be 13 years full-time next July.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

One of my favorite things to do outside of work is see movies at the Alamo Drafthouse.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.��

I spin my own yarn (I especially love spinning angora rabbit wool if I can get it!)��

What do you love about �Ͼ�Ʒ��?

Oh, wow it's hard to pick just one thing. I especially love how beautiful the campus is, and that I'm lucky enough to get to help keep it that way; I also love the community and the sense of aiming for the greater good.��

Are you a die-hard fan of anything?����

I'm a die-hard fan of maps (and knitting)!��

The holiday season is a very busy time for many people. Often, we may feel rushed or stressed which can lead to safety concerns. Be extra cautious when you are driving during the holidays, especially in parking lots. Most accidents this time of the year occur in grocery store and post office parking lots. When it comes time to decorate your office or home, check extension cords and light cords to make sure they are not frayed. Consider using battery-operated lights or candles when possible. If you are adventurous and hang outdoor lights, check your ladder before climbing and be mindful how you position your ladder. We hope you all have a happy and safe holiday season!

The chill isn’t just passing through – it here for the long haul. To help prevent frozen pipes and potential flooding, we ask that everyone:

• Double-check that all windows in your area are fully closed and locked.
• Report any windows that cannot be secured to the OCC immediately.

Taking a few minutes now can help avoid costly damage and disruptions later.��

The FM safety committee meets the third Tuesday of every month to discuss general safety concerns, review safety reports and on-the-job injuries and recommend training needs and resources.
