Courtney has more than five years of experience supporting and coordinating strategic initiatives at ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è, now with a focus on her two biggest passions: sustainability and resilience. As Strategic Projects Specialist for Infrastructure and Resilience (I&R), she helps manage cross-campus projects like ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è Climate Action Plan, the Sustainability Council, and decarbonization implementation efforts. Her work includes leading project coordination, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping advance the university goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions 50% by 2030.
Courtney holds a bachelor degree in Environmental Studies from Western Washington University, a Master of Science in Outdoor Recreation Economy from the ÀÏ¾ÅÆ·²è, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Disasters, Hazards, and Emergency Management from CU Denver, expected in spring 2026. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and exploring Colorado outdoors with her partner, Nate, and their dog, Maple.
