Nichol announces departure from Campus Controller Office; Valashinas named interim leader
Vicki Nichol, campus controller, announced she is leaving ÀϾÅÆ·²è for the Colorado School of Mines, effective December 8, 2023.
"I’m grateful to Vicki for her work on behalf of the University, not the least of which has been helping to orient me to the ins and outs of accounting here at ÀϾÅÆ·²è during my first year," said Todd Haggerty, chief financial officer and vice chancellor for finance and business strategy.
Todd Haggerty has named Sheri Valashinas the interim campus controller and plans to launch a search for the position in January 2024.
Nichol joined ÀϾÅÆ·²è as campus controller in August 2020. Valashinas has been with the Campus Controller Office since January 2023 as the director of financial systems and reporting.
