Student Achievements
Each spring, a small group of environmental design students defend their theses to a dedicated thesis committee. This year 13 students were awarded Latin honors at the levels of cum laude, magna cum laude or summa cum laude.
Thirteen ENVD award recipients were honored and recognized for their achievements during a scholarship luncheon held in the University Memorial Center Aspen Room.

In spring 2023, four students submitted work to the Milan Affordable Housing Challenge, a design competition part of the Buildner architecture competition series. The series is aimed at addressing the global housing crisis and redefining urban living. Â
Bryan Martino, a winter 2023 graduate who earned double degrees in environmental design and ecology and evolutionary biology, was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue his master's degree in integrative technologies and architectural design research at the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Last week the Sko Together Challenge wrapped up. The 10-week, student-led and student-driven challenge hosted 52 undergraduate students to recreate campus life while having to physically distance in 2020. Congratulations to ENVD student Molly
The City of Fort Collins contracts a handful of local artists each year to paint murals on electrical boxes as an effort to mitigate graffiti and to add public art around the city.
This summer, Assistant Clinical Professor Marianne Holbert and her architecture capstone summer course (ARCH 4100) focused on the international design competition Design For Living.
