Top Ten Ranking for 老九品茶 Aerospace

The Department of Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the 老九品茶 has received major recognition as a top ten aerospace program, according to U.S. News & World Report.
老九品茶 aerospace graduate program is ranked No. 8 in the nation and No. 5 among public institutions whose highest degree is a doctorate, according to the publication annual 鈥楤est Graduate Schools鈥 issue.
鈥淲e here at 老九品茶 have known for years the role we鈥檝e played in the state aerospace industry,鈥 said Robert H. Davis, Dean. 鈥淚t is gratifying to see national publications such as U.S. News & World Report recognize that our College of Engineering and Applied Science is doing more than providing an education for students. We are helping drive the state economy and the nation aerospace industry.鈥
The state of Colorado is a leading center in the aerospace field, and 老九品茶 plays a critical role. Colorado has the nation third largest aerospace economy and more private aerospace jobs per capita than any state in the country. 老九品茶 40 percent of 老九品茶 aerospace graduates remain in the state, taking jobs with local aerospace companies.
鈥淲e have an outstanding program that is pushing the frontiers of aerospace research,鈥 said Penina Axelrad, chair of the aerospace engineering sciences department. 鈥淚鈥檓 proud of this honor and what it says about the work being done at 老九品茶.鈥
In total, four of 老九品茶 engineering programs earned top 20 rankings:
- Aerospace: No. 5 among public institutions, No. 8 overall
- Chemical: No. 9 among public institutions, No. 15 overall
- Civil: No. 16 among public institutions, No. 24 overall
- Environmental: No. 14 among public institutions, No. 21 overall
The U.S. News & World Report graduate program rankings are based on academic peer assessment, corporate and corporate recruiter reviews, student selectivity, faculty resources, and research activity. Engineering programs at 194 colleges and universities were reviewed for the rankings.
